Apologies if anybody else has mentioned this, but I see from the BBC website that Adie Williams, the Reading defender, has been released by Steve Coppell.

I feel he could be a useful addition to our team, bearing in mind Guy and Danny's injury problems.

Any thoughts?

You might have a point. Mr Coppell obviously has a blind spot where good defenders are. Adam Virgo is the proof of that.

I think he'd be a good signing, although as usual we probably couldn't afford his wages.

Yep. Virgs is a quality defender. He and I are unanimous in that statement.

He's just like his hero. He floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.

Not sure he's needed at the moment - even though we have a few injuries in defence. But I appreciated him coming over to applaud the Albion fans at the end of the Reading game in August.

Adie Williams is useless. I'm surprised Reading didn't boot him out years ago. No way is he good enough for us. Molango gave him the runaround back in August.
