You've got me thinking. Has there ever been a wayward player who's attitude has been "dealt with" buy a manager? I'm struggling to think of any. All I ever see is desperate mangers believing they can get a good player on the cheap.

You only have to look at our own Manager who got the best out of and turned Joey Barton around at Newcastle, although internally he was fined by Chris for a few things but they never made it into the press. Possibly the reason Joey respected Chris so much. Have a look at the video with Joey when he left. I think this was it. Couldn't check for sure as my you tube isn't working today

But he got suspended for 8 months for kicking a Palace supporter under SAF? That's a pretty extreme act and punishment. An isolated incident but probably worse than anything previous.

He got the 8 month suspension because he didnt do the job properly and the fan was ok.
