Swansea City (player-manager) 1997
Brentford 1997–1998
Nottingham Forest (caretaker-manager) 1999
Brighton & Hove Albion 1999–2001
Leicester City 2002–2004
Coventry City 2005–2007
Brighton & Hove Albion 2008–

Longest stay at any club is 2 years.
So we can only expect he will be gone by 2010 or maybe sooner?
The question is why did Brighton hire a guy with a record like this, MADNESS!

I hope he proves me wrong. :albion2:

Yup not a bad record really. Even if it is with money.

But i see your point about him being at clubs for around two years. But i think he will stay as long as he can with us now becuase we are getting the new stadium. If hes not sacked befour. Big clubs are not after him anymore.

when you think about it its not that good.
Fulham were in the bottom tier of pro football and just got bought by a rich chairman.
Leicester had just been up in the prem so was easier to get straight back up their.
And Brighton, that one i cant explain...

well clearly its Zamora.

So by that logik. Sparky must be really really shit at his job beacuse he has loads of money and is 3rd from bottom. Wow that is shit i had no idea Man City were there!!!

Im not defending him. This thread is about his record as a manager and he has got clubs prometed.

CLEARLY

Yeah obviously is.. he did well at Blackburn, bad choice to leave.
Anyway Premiership football is completely different it doesn't compare to the lower leagues. Top 4 will be there for years the only thing that can budge them is money. Man City haven't had the chance to spend alot of thier money yet, thier waiting for the january transfer window, like US.
