Every time dwayne opens his mouth about anything that could be construed as "in the know" or something approaching celebrity, you chime in with your usual jealous sneers.

Why are you so jealous of dwayne? You probably haven't even met him.

nmh wants to be a ginger

That a joke Gimpster? It must be.

Celebrity is not very interesting really, after working in a casting company in Hollywood. They repeat their films over there as often as duh repeats his.
Adam Lalana is hardly a big name, I must admit - but this story was bandied about by dwayne 2 seasons ago, (just after his sister died  ). "Adam Lallana II! Raunchy and racy story of a chimney sweep who's best mate is an England Under21 player, at a website near you, from September 26th!" )

If y'wanna have a website where lying drivel and bigging-up reigns, then go get a room. aol has plenty, and you can even pretend you are a 15 year-old schoolgirl (40yr-old fat guy) with 42Ds who's looking for an older boyfriend to take her virginity. Trouble is, if silly lying twats get you billing and cooing, it dilutes the truth (if and when it occurs)

Some of my best friends are gingers, vulture - with freckles and everything.

DK would say that if his wages were 50p a week.

Oh come on, Dwayne is clearly very fond of name dropping and out and out boasting.
Almost everyone recognises this, so to say any negative response has anything to do with jealousy is a joke.

Anyway, back to the rumour (which I suspect is bullshit) - how come DW and DK are now into making illegal approaches for players? Or did they actually go through the Saints?

Why is it so preposterous that Dwayne knows Adam Lallana?

The whole thing is entirely feasible - he's a promising young player who would clearly benefit from a spell in League One and it's certainly not unreasonable to hear that we can't afford all his wages.

A Southampton youth player? Sorry, I do find that unreasonable. We should be able to afford one of them. Southampton certainly won't be paying him that much.

He's on pro forms...so he's getting paid championship wages. As I understand S'hampton want us to cover all of it if we take him on and DK (who does all these negotiations) is not playing ball.

Also there have been no illegal approaches!! - Albion have an ongoing interset and their manager is aware of this.

He must be at the low end of Championship wages though? I wouldn't expect us to be able to afford Jonathan Greening, but someone who has played only a couple of senior games, I would have thought we could.

What category does O'Callaghan fall into?
Not a first-teamer for Ipswich, and we've baulked at paying his wages.
It could be suggested that his low purchase fee would adequately balance the books, but countering that would be the expectations of the other players, who will have been on lower wages, and perhaps been turned down for raises before as well.

I imagine that contracts might be something that will need careful thought, with clauses for raises and bonuses that make it worthwhile for all....providing the results, and league position reflect a balance of worth.
There would have to be some faith from the better players, or perhaps get-out clauses of their own - so if the team is not built upon or achieving in tandem, they can re-negotiate or invite other offers.
Whatever it takes, but unless a club keeps up with the competition wage-wise, then they will find it hard to keep players or maintain expectations.

This is all without taking competitive spirit into account, a priceless trait of its' own.

Irregardless of this Lallana stuff, which is hypothetical (and won't carry any weight with me, purely down to who has propagated it)

REALLY??

Do you often refer to your 'mate' by his last name? I NEVER talk about ANY of my friends that way.

Do go on though, SIMPster finds your :bla: :bla: :bla: stories ENTHRALLING ( :braders::braders::braders: )

Maybe because you haven't got any friends ? I know quite a few people who call mates by their surnames.
