Why when Joe Gatting came on, were some people shouting "Oh f*** no, not Gatting" and "Gatting is shit".

This is really encouraging to a young player isn't it :glare:.

I think it was completly out of order, and people around me did to.

Because he is shit.

And his goal against Northwich was nothing, all he had to do was walk one step and tap the ball in.

People were saying the exact same thing about Jakey Robinson and look what he's like now. If he's given a chance then I think he'll come good, but by shouting stuff like "Gatting, you're shit", I don't really think that'll help him.

Jake Robinson has always had potential, and people have been awaiting for that to happen. Even last season there was something there that was ready to be unleashed with Jake, he just didn't have the confidence (and pace) that Dean Wilkins has helped to bring out in him.

I have not seen Gatting as much as most people on here, but quite a few regulars have reassured me he is shit because he has no movement and energy with the ball.

joe gatting scored shit loads at youth and reserve level, so there is potential there aswell

i think his MAIN problem is that a) he's not quick enough to be a robinson type striker and b) that he's not big enough to be a target man

unless he grows a lot/finds some pace from somewhere, he'll always struggle

its a shame cos he's a WELL nice kid

how many times have you seem him play aids?

i personal dont think he is good enough but i will support him when he is on the pitch, getting on his back is just going to make his head go down even more.

before you start slagging off players, watch them play a good 10 games and make your own idea of him, not just copy what other people say

I'm sorry, but it's one thing to be able to say a player is shit, because you've seen a lot of him and reached that conclusion on the basis of some evidence.

But to say he's shit because "other people assure you" that he's shit is an opinion that is, frankly, worthless. And unworthy of an Albion supporter.

Much be three times at least, possibly four.

Statto explained he was shit against MK Dons and Northwich, though he didn't make it known to him, he was saying it quietly because he didn't want to unsettle him etc.

He was on the pitch for about two minutes against Franchise, and against Northwich he scored, and set up two goals.

Well that says it all then! It's a nailed-on fact that a player (who has been selected out of the reserves and has been trained and nurtured from youth level) has absolutely no skill or right to find a place in a team - because of some hearsay you (of all people) interpreted the meanings of.

I think it's safe to take everything you say as total drivel (as it always was, and everyone here does already).

Don't ever wonder why you are ridiculed Adriodinho ???
