It was an extraordinary performance!

However, they are not guaranteed to go through. They needed to win with a bonus point to go level with Sri Lanka in the table... IF Sri Lanka manage a win, tie or the match is abandoned against Australia in the last group game they will still go through ahead of India.

This tri-series seems to have gone on for absolutely weeks. Will the Aussies go all out for the win on Friday, knowing that India would be a tougher final? (best of 3). I think they will to round off a great summer for them. Hope Sachin Tendulkar can get his 100th 100 very soon but time is running out for him.

An astonishing result I would suggest only made possible by the introduction of t20 cricket.(As much as I think t20 is played to much & is making players choose between playing for their country or playing in the many t20 tournaments around the world)

Malinga has got a weird style of bowling. Rather than a normal over-arm bowl, his arm is out at 45 degrees from his body, and he almost throws it towards the batsman. Strangest bowling I've ever seen - although pretty effective!
