Us, Leeds and Ipswich - we're sure to win the race for that signature then!

Didn't Hawkins sign for us after a championship club and Scots prem clubs were also sniffing around to sign him?
Hopefully we don't get him anyway.I wouldn't like that name on our team sheet.

Doesnt exactly look like we would be missing out if we didnt sign him. 21 years old and has played for Maidenhead and Gretna.........not the "experienced League 1" type of player MA is looking for. We dont really need any more ones for the future with the might Doug Loft pledging himself to the cause for another year:bowdown:

I'd rather that name on our team sheet than your name on one of our season tickets. :salute:

Cobblers capture midfielder Osman

Northampton Town have signed former Gretna central midfielder Abdul Osman on a two-year contract.

The 21-year-old Englishman had looked set to join Kilmarnock but failed a medical due to a back injury.

But Cobblers manager Stuart Gray says he is unconcerned by the former Maidenhead player's fitness.

"I've got every confidence that the boy will be fit and healthy and we will be pleased when he gets out on the pitch," Gray told BBC Radio Northampton.

Well obviously we, Leeds and Ipswich weren't chasing him very hard.
