Is that really an achievement comparing squads?
I think having the second best points haul in the clubs history(top division) is an achievement with whatever squad, and even more so when the injuries to the squad are taken into account. I think we have had something like a third more injury days than any other club-even the ones where every match you hear about how awful the injuries are and its a miracle they managed to put out a team (city for example, Arsenal, Newcastle-all with far far bigger budgets and squads), so yes, i think having the second highest points tally by any albion squad ever in the top flight is an achievement

Not as positive as everyone else, but I really like the fact he always is trying different things and looking to learn different things from other sports to give us an extra edge.

He left St Pauli in a decent state - result today means they are incredibly unlikely to get relegated

If someone is successful you wouldn’t find a thread of let’s find something positive about this guy would you?
You already know the positives.
You don't think the second highest finish in our 100+ year history represents success?
Tough crowd!

If we finish a point more than that 9th place after £300m spent over two seasons on first team players then no that’s not a success. If we finish 7th and grab a European place than yes it’s been a successful season.

I salute your ambition, and focus.
And I can't really argue with you.
As the Aussies say, "whinging for perfection"

You're relying on money spent to ensure immediate success this season? How very Chelsea/insert other entitled club of you.
Amazing.

Wanting signings to have an impact is now Chelsea, I hope you are all ashamed of yourselves

Who said that? I suggested that signings made were not expected to make an immediate impact, a la Chelsea et al.
I love how some of you willingly misinterpret things....and it's the likes of those who do, who should be ashamed of themselves. :)

Duh obviously we have better players since that 9th place finish especially in attacking areas. Are you saying after spending over a quarter of a billion we shouldn’t expect to improve? TB would have been better off saving the money.

Interesting that Kluivert thinks that Bournemouth have had a special season yet many Brighton fans aren’t content with the one we are having

Fair to say that many of us are now entitled. I guess I come into that category too
