Peter Cleall (Duffy in Please Sir) - The Albion

Mark Williams (Red Dwarf/The Fast Show) - Aston Villa (although he was seen at Withdean wearing a Brighton shirt - mate of Ralph Brown's I think)

And the real reason Louise left Jamie....

James Haddock, Sky Sports golf presenter is an Albion fan and is said to to take shirts/scarves with him wherever they are working.

Used to see Mark Williams at Gillingham a fair bit - even had him in fits of laugher when one of our group fell asleep during a game and a ball nearly hit him !

Some years back there was a thread that asked for celebrity Brighton fans and someone posted an unsourced suggestion that Rik Mayall followed us. I doubt very much whether its true. He wasn't from here, as far as I'm aware he never lived here and I don't know that he even watched football. However I'd be fully behind spreading this totally unsupported claim until it develops the same legs as 'vikings wore horned helmets', 'Bob Holness played sax on 'Baker Street', or 'olives are a foodstuff'.

If Palace can make up rubbish about the year they were founded, why shouldn't we get to do the same about which dead geniuses may have supported us?

oh no, you missed off El Presidente's mate Kevin Day... pod host extraordinaire...

I also missed off, Mark Steel, Rob Newman, Ronnie Corbett, Roy Hudd, Harry Enfield, and I think Bob Monkhouse too, but on checking could not find a reference for him.
