A Thought.......

Have been feeling quite negative about our chances this season but...

thinking about it.

we have left it a bit late in signing players.

It will take a bit of time for these players to bed in so we should not expect miracles immediately

However....
We have paid six figure sums for two strikers regarded as very good prospects.

We have signed a very experienced Defender who has played virtually all his career in the premiership.

We are going to sign a quality Goalkeeper.

between 3 - 5 additional signings on the way.

Some of our younger players will develop this season.


And finally...
Compare our new signings to those we have signed in the last few years.
I can't have seen us signing dodd or blayney in any of those years...
and as for paying 100k+ for two players forget it.


so all in all feeling a bit more positive.

Agree, but I think things will take some time - expecting a great time from Xmas onwards.

Goalkeeper aside I think a lot of the players needed are morre for squad strengthening so we possibly don't need them for Saturday.
