This was also a well discussed topic just before we went on the six match unbeaten run wasn’t it?

beat toon and Shef Utd, and 4 draws would do it I reckon

It'll never happen . . .with my optimistic hat on 39 points, my 40+ years of BHA hat says 32-35.

Bottom 3 is getting tasty, past 6 games those teams around us have all picked up more points then us:

13th Palace 5
14th Southampton 4
15th Burnley 7
16th Newcastle 5
17th Brighton 5
18th Fulham 11
19th West Brom 6
20th Sheff Utd 3

Change that to 6 games and really only Fulham are pulling any trees up.

I think Fulham now look like they stay up So the third place spot is likley to be between us and Newcastle

I think 17th and 18th will be taken by Newcastle and us. Both with key injuries and leaky defences.

Fulham went on a huge recruitment spending spree a few weeks into the season, there’s so much quality in that squad, they don’t concede and they got so very lucky with few injuries.

Their team that lost the opener at home to Arsenal:

Rodak, Ream, Hector, Odoi, Bryan, Onomah, Cairney, Reed, Kebano, Cavaleiro, Kamara.

The squad that won at Goodison:

Areola, Tete, Andersen, Adarabiayo, Aina, Lemina, Reed, Loftus-Cheek, Reid, Maja, Lookman, Cavaleiro, Anguissa, Onomah.

Transformed by investment, once they realised they were shite.
