A self indulgent 1000th post

I thought I'd save my 1000 post for something special, well to me anyway.

I moved over to Ireland with my family just over a year ago and my boys have to do irish dancing as part of their schooling. Back in december my youngest lad (he is 9) was told that he should consider joining a dance school and we signed him up after christmas.

Today he had his first competition and come home with 2 x 1st prizes a 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th prizes and this is competing against kids who have been doing it for 5 years or more.

probably my proudest day as a dad so far
