There are many Albion fans who either can't get to matches to buy a programme or who go to matches but chose not to buy one.
This is what the Editor said in Albion's programme for Saturday 17th December's match v Stoke just in case you never read it or have forgotten !!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Unfair and unbalanced
On Saturday's BBC Southern Counties phone-in, host Ian Hart spent much of his show calling for "truth and honesty" from the club about the financial situation. "Just give us a figure," he demanded, with a zeal reminiscent of the war-footing stand-off between the club and fans over eight years ago.
On 10th September the club launched the Alive & Kicking Appeal, in an attempt to raise over £2m to help stabilise the club's difficult finacial position - which, as explained back then, has been brought about by the restrictions of Withdean and continual delays on the Falmer outcome.
The club have been open and honest about the whole situation - nevertheless the them-and-us mentality stoked up by Hart has even led to callers to the show accusing the club's directors of being "liars" and of pocketing the money (to which Hart offers no defence, irresponsible, at least, coming from the BBC).
In fact it's quite outrageous when you consider that the current directors and shareholders have invested over £7m since the Board took over the running of the club; money they wouldn't see again should the unthinkable happen.
When we launched Alive & Kicking we didn't know what response to expect, but desperate situations bring out the best in people. With great understanding supporters so far have contributed over £240,000 - a magnificent effort and we thank everyone personally - but that still leaves a big shortfall against our £2m deficit.
Part of that hole has been filled by the sale of Darren Currie to Ipswich and it will be filled further by the receipts from our FA Cup third round tie with Tottenham. The Albion's survival is the ultimate priority and we as a club are still looking at ways to ensure that.
Ian Hart also said, " I know there are possible other people who are rumoured to want to invest .... people with significant funds." As we've said many, many times before we would love to hear from them.
Get them to give us a call, Ian!"
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I wonder if Hart ever did !
I suspect not because he, as his comment inferred, is more than happy to rumour munger. Not helpful to the Albion's cause at this precarious time in the club's history.
Last week The Argus repeated a story more or less written by Paul Hayward of the Daily Telegraph which basically said that by being at Withdean, and not at Falmer, the Albion had missed out on £30m of revenue.
Hart then said to Martin Perry, "According to The Argus the Albion have lost £30m. Careless, don't you think ?"
Fortunately MP was able to put right this dumbo straightaway (Hart had never even read the article !!!).
For how much longer are we going to suffer this man as presenter of OUR programme?
Some say switch off if you don't like it. I don't like it but I do want to see someone who is less Jack-the-Lad, and can present the programme in a professional way rather than an imitation bar-side chat.
The programme was a rare opportunity for fans to have their say. It isn't anymore. Hart shanghais most programmes with an agenda of his own designed to be controversial.
And this ego-maniac wants to be controversial. Why ? He doesn't have to be. He's got a ready made audience that doesn't need boosting. Or didn't.
I am so brassed off with his immature comments, and equally browned off by his one brain celled supporters (for example Ben's Grandad, friend of Jackie Charlton) that I have indeed stopped listening.
Clearly I sit in the South Stand. I have often asked my chums there what they think of the show. No answer. They don't listen any more.
Just a few years ago the programme slumped to such depths that no one was phoning in. How do I know that ? Because SCR rang me up and asked me to take part !!!
It is now time. long overdue, for the BBC to dispense with Hart's services. He may be an Albion supporter but on too many occasions now his quest for controversy has become dangerous to the Albion's health. I know from many threads that there are also many fans who think as I do.
It is time Mr Hart for you to say "GOODBYE", and rest your laurels, such as they are, alongside the corpse of your extinct fanszine. Remember ? The one that got you in to so much doo-doo.
I would welcome supportive comments although clearly sychophants like Ben's Grandad (poor Ben) will no doubt try to rise to the occasion.
For your benefit BG, just thought you might like to know that name dropping can seriously backfire on you. ... Edited by moderators ...

In the meantime could someone-else please ask Ian Hart to just
SHORT QUESTION
Should Hart stay on ?
If "Yes", then WHY ?
