A Message From DTG ~ Chat With Revell

I have a message from DTG, who for some reason has been banned from this forum (mods ~ any ideas?)




After the phone in, I got talking to Alex Revell after his interview with
Hawsey.

He said that last night was the best atmosphere he had experienced at
Withdean and him and the players were extremely grateful for the support
they received from the crowd. he said just what a difference it could make
especially when young heads start to go down after conceding goals.

He is thoroughly enjoying his time down here and cant believe how well the
Brighton fans have taken to him.

He had nothing but praise for his team mates, expecially sam rents who he
believes for his age is a tremendous prospect.

Not name dropping, but i was talking also to Ewan Roberts ( ex Huddersfield
and Norwich amongst others) - commentating for BBC radio wales ( in welsh)
and he was raving about Cox and Robinson, and reconed we would be hard
pushed to keep them in January. He also thought for a team of youngsters we
looked very accomplished and praised Dean Wilkins for the way he has got
the yougsters playing.

Dont see it being very likley that Robinson or Cox will go. They are too light weight to attract a serious bid that we would consider. Thats what I hope anyway!!

Its a pleasure to read all of that. Its a worry about Cox and Robinson if thats what outsiders think but I would rather be worried they were going than worried that their names were on the team sheet in the first place.

Well everyone has a price, I just dont think that many clubs would get to the price we would expect for them. Im more worried about losing Revell as his contract expires at the end of the season
