A letter from Jimmy Case

Checked out a few boxes full of Albion related programmes, fanzines, cuttings and letters today - as I was clearing out a room. I came across a letter that Jimmy Case sent me when he was still our manager - I'd written to him saying that in view of what the b*stards in charge were doing to our club I thought he should resign immediately. His reply:

"Dear David
I have recieved(sic) your letter and have read every word. I agree with all the words and phrases and statements you have put forward and you may well get a response from me. Thanks again.
Jimmy Case"

Think he actually resigned about a week later. The man remains a legend in my book.

I had a letter from Freddie Goodwin after asking for their old kits for our footie team.......he said no as they were used in training

I have a similar letter from liam Brady and a letter from Bill Archer telling me not to worry as it was all the political maneuvering going on at the time that was the hold up in getting a new stadium and I should not worry my pretty little head
