I once had a colleague from the Northamptonshire area, who walked into the office on her first day and loudly announced to much bemusement that she was just popping outside for a growler.

In her part of the world, that means a cigarette, apparently :ohmy:

oath mate, spot on, here in Perth at the phenomenal "International Beer Shop" in Leederville you can buy your very own growler to keep (a 2 litre glass bottle). Then you can keep bringing it back to fill up with various guest keg beers they have in stock. A bit cheeky given growler as a fanny comes from Australia.....
