From the Middlesborough Rivals site:

re: Brighton Fans
These lads and lasses where a credit to their club tonight and reminded me of what supporting your club is all about. They never stopped singing from the beginning to the end. Don't know how long it will take them to get home but a safe journey to all of them.

Good luck in the future.

Couldn't agree more, Joe. And was good to hear our PA person acknowledging them and to see the Boro fans clapping them at the end of the game too!

I have done that journey the other way round many years ago and I doubt they will be home before 5am!

They are a credit to their club and I too wish them luck.

That's great. Just got in and we didn't stop singing. Even when we had nothing much to sing about we were singing to each other

We're the right side, we're the right side etc etc.

A superb stadium but empty. Another song we sang

20,000 empty seats 20,000 empty seats.

Brighton played and battled all the way through. We were proud of them and made Middlesbrough look average.

It could have gone either way.

That's what we were singing :lolol:

We were in front of the commentary boxes so perhaps they picked up on that

Made me laugh. Nice one Yorkie.

Spotted you at Withdean last time out, but didn't get chance to come over and say hello. Will do next time.

I don't suppose Boro sold many tickets ???

They still had plenty more fans there than we did. They just about managed a cheer when they scored but that was about it.

"One up, and you still don't sing"

BTW the Right Side was in far better singing voice than the Left Side

Loads of applause from the Brighton fans

We sang 'here's to you Jakey Robinson, Brighton loves you more than you will know'

We let him know we were pleased to see him on the pitch

From the match report on the Boro site.

"It was a long, long night at the Riverside and it will be a long, long journey home for the many travelling Seagulls fans. Yet they can be proud tonight of their team's stout resistance and their own superb and very vocal support."

Nice one people.
