""We can confirm the man arrested is a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area."

Police statement from BBC page.
Clearly a conspiracy narrative driven by the Wokerati mainscream media and such.

Clearly.

Is a bit grim that people are celebrating it being a white guy and others angry it isn't a brown person all over the internet. Not quite so explicitly here but can see the undertones all too well.

Thoughts are with solely the victims at this time, will not spend any time thinking about the evil piece of shit who did such a thing.
…evil….or panicked, stressed, threatened, unstable  We’ll know in due course.

From the footage I’ve seen it appears the driver somehow found himself amongst the crowd, hence the beeping of the horn,it looks like those around him started hitting the car and tried to drag him out, it’s at this point the driver lost it either through panic or rage and tried to drive away hitting those in his way
Having seen the sickening footage, the driver appears to intentionally steer towards the largest group of people possible at high speed.

This isn’t a slight on anyone here or Bozza for the thread title (the mainstream press all report these incidents the same way) - but a car didn’t plough into people - a person driving one as a deadly weapon ploughed into fellow human beings.

My thoughts are solely with the victims of this outrage and their friends and families.

That’s your opinion. Suggest you don’t write it as a fact. It may well be but you don’t know that for certain do you?

There are videos of him hitting the horn. People started hitting his car and trying to open the door, which after that he started to speed into the crowd.

Where would they get their self-validation from then though?
Yes.

For the avoidance of doubt, it became clear very very quickly that a car had been driven into a large crowd. We have no idea at the moment why.

I did think (for about 2 seconds today) to take someone down there, but the three taxi drivers I have spoken to ensure me it's been a bit crazy in the centre today.

The fact it’s my opinion should be inferred by the carefully chosen term “appears to”.
Those of the adequate intelligence to respond to me recognise this.

You’ve tried this with me before, and came off very badly, so I’d suggest I’m not one to challenge on correct use of English. I choose my words carefully.

Sad that this is a binfire of a thread already.

Fact: 53 year old white British man arrested.

Fact: Police have asked people not to speculate.

Everything else: Speculation.

So stop it please.

Here’s the police statement from the BBC:

I was referring to the last part of your post. You didn’t choose them carefully enough.

It's almost as if you have experience of the full spectrum of human frailty.
However this is surely no match for the opinionated certainty of the armchair experts.

Or that I spent years investigating incidents involving cars, including ones involving crowds.
