A boring stupid bug in Microsoft Word

its boring but then again I'm monumentally bored this afternoon....

haven't had an email since 12:30 and then I got this one so its the most amusement I've had...

Open a Word document ni Microsoft word and type:

= rand (200,99)

Press Enter and wait 3 seconds...

good that took care of a few minutes...

you have to type words and then spell check them and see if you can get the stupidst ones??

ie type tedebear and hit spell check and it comes up with deadbeat

I used to work for a company called Stocksigns, when that went through the spellchecket it came up with Stockings.

thats no bug, its whats refered to as an 'easter egg'. a littel treat that some bored programer put in the code one day. Once upon a time, there where loads of them.

have ago at these in Excel97 and in Word 97

but once youve had a giggle, stop to think just how good thier internal code audits are...
