Many of you may have given up on Russell and the boys but I ruddy well haven't.

Now is the time more than ever to roar them on, there is only one way we're going to get out of this mess, and that is together. With the board the staff, the manager, the players and fans pulling in the same direction we can still do it.

Keep the Faith.

If the team can muster the same attitude as you we'll be alright. Looks like too many of them don't give a shit.

Sorry, but its purely down to the players now. They've made it perfectly clear they don't respond to encouragement from the fans. Pull together. Don't pull together. See your footballing career go down the pan. Don't see your footballing career go down the pan. Your call

Oh, and can Keep the Faith be put out to grass along with Micky Adams. Just sounds like so much happy-claptrap now. Que sera sera.

On Tuesday night's evidence, the players have given up. What makes the situation worse is that the players don't care that we care. I have never felt as alienated from a Brighton & Hove Albion team as I feel now. In today's Argus, Nicky Forster admits, actually admits, that the players lacked desire at Walsall.

The present group of Albion players should watch some DVDs showing the likes of Oatway, Carpenter and Cullip wearing the stripes if they want to know what commitment means. If they can't match the commitment of the said former players then they can take a hike.

:albion2: Great post! IF even a few of the players believe I think that COULD be enough... Forster seems to honestly care about the team and club. He has to be the MOST influential of them all as captain and striker. :ascarf:

Right here, right now
There are a few that do seem to care but too many seem to be happy to just pick up their wages at the end of the week regardless of how they have played. Some more with the desire and determination of Nicky Forster could see us get out of this mess.

Stranger things have happened.

Wont stop me chucking my dosh at the club even if we do go down, this club though never truly sucsessfull will survive in one way or another in whatever league that maybe,if i had the choice obviously i would like us to be playing Man utd ect but if its Morecombe next season then so be it.I still have a gut feeling we will survive this season at the expense of a team like hartlepool whom would assume they are safe but are in no form whatsoever, tis not over til the portly women sings.

The silence is deafening. I think you're on your own mate.

more of us than you might think my glass is always half full and I don't see any reason why we should not get out of the shit if the players respond.

as I said in another thread do you all remember Hereford and how many points we had to make up that season, anything can happen between now and the end of the season and probably will.

I blame Micky Adams for instilling this particular attitude, with his wank signings. I am still in disbelief that he thought it was a good idea to blow a shedload on wages for Robbie Savage, as if he was *ever* going to do anything other than use the club as practise to get match fit.

Still, he made a catalogue of basic mistakes and now he's gone. Small mercies though, because we ARE going down.

And as I've said on other threads, the two seasons are entirely different. We're going down, and don't be abusive just because that's realistically what's going to happen and I tend to agree.

well it's a touch and go season and this is summed up from a 5-0 win to being 3-0 at half time against Walsall and consistency has dogged this season, struggling to put the same team out twice in a row has a big effect as some of the players we have are just not good enough even for this level of Football. The end of day effort and fight come for free on the pitch you just need enough of the 11 to have that in them...i think we may have just enough and Scunny away will be a very good test ! :ascarf:
