This is the snapshot in our history that I always refer to.

Blimey! All the worship of Tony Bloom on this thread. And not a peep about Dick Knight and Martin Perry (and the Albion fanbase) who did the hard miles so that Tony Bloom could swoop in with his cheque book when the hard graft battle was won. Little wonder there's no love lost between DK and TB

Hull were top after the first day of the 2016-17 season on alphabetical order from Man City (both sides won 2-1).

They were bottom of the football league on Feb 10th 1999

This isn't the first time we've been in the number one slot in the last 7 years. I'm fairly sure a couple of years ago, we went top for a couple of days.

We've never lead the table overnight before. We've led the in play table and for a few hours until the late kick off fixtures were completed on the opening day of this season but until this past weekend we'd never lead the table at the end of a days play.
