8mg Broadband.

Whilst in Macclesfield the other day,i went into Carphone warehouse-Talk/Talk. Where they are pushing 8mg B/Band. However when checking my exchange i cant get it, (surprise surprise) has anyone else had the same problem?

It's to do with unbundling.

It all depends how close you are to the exchange. I have 8mb but normally only reach 5 or 6mb.

This is where i find it confusing,as the guy in the shop reckoned i could get 4mg ?
However i use tiscali now @ 1mg. Why dont they notify me as to what speed i could get ?

I'll be getting it soon. Tiscali and BT are upgrading within the next fortnight and then ... zoom !!
