The Irish gave Europe Riverdance - we gave them the Wombles. Who got the better deal :jester:

I saw them film that bit outside the pavilion. I was only 5 then.

I also went to see them at an event during the Brighton festival in 1976 at Withdean stadium. Little did I know that 22 years later I would be leading a campaign to get the Albion to play there.

Mind you - there is a passing resemblence between Dean White and Orinoco :D

How many No.1 singles did Riverdance have? Eh? Eh?

two less than Jonny Logan - who has won the competition 3 times (twice as a singer and once as a writer).

That was very clever of you to remember, remember, remember, remember,
Remember, remember, remember, remember,
Remember, remember, remember, remember...

My subtitle of FUD LECLERC is taken from the man who sang "The Drowned Men Of The Seine" to represent Belgium in 1956.

According to Wikipedia, "The song is in the chanson style typical of the early years of the Contest, with Leclerc opining that he is trapped in a loveless marriage and wishes to drown himself in the Seine."

Beat that.

Oi, enough Eurovision, let's get this back on track...

Richard O'Sullivan may have been a Man About The House with these two lovely ladies, but while he shared their flat he failed to share their beds.
Name 'em - the actresses and/or characters.

Serves him right for not having a more original character-name than, well, Robin.

Fortunately the girls were a little more imaginative - name the actresses and/or the characters they played.
That's because his name is RICHARD O'Sullivan...
