I wish I'd taken a photo (or at least remembered the name) of a pub in Portsmouth with a massive banner across the front saying words to the effect of:-
'Proudly marching onto league 1'.
I'm hoping they had a new banner every season.
I then spent the rest of my ride wondering what the last 10 years worth of banners would have read.
It didn't look like the sort of pub I could walk in and ask, while wearing my 'Ride of Fall' Albion cap.
