No but I don't think he ever said that it would. He said we have 6/7 deals going. I would be surprised if it was more than 2/3 max. The other deals will be fall backs in case plan A breaks down...

Do you really think that after 2 years of slowly building a squad he is going to wait until the last day of the transfer window to buy 1/2 of a new team. It was 6/7 options probably for 2 or 3 positions of which we have 1 and we all know 1 was a striker. Its called covering your option if player 'a' says no thanks they go with player 'b'.

For what is worth I reckon 1 more signing and 1 loan max.
