Strike partnership for Reading, Plymouth, Coventry.

Molango and Robinson.

Are they any better than Shaun Wilkinson and Daniel Marney of non-league fame?

I still think we're in desperate need of an expirienced, strong striker.

Thoughts?

Molango WILL have a great season, he looked sharp and had great touch yesterday, would like to say Robinson would partner him up front but yesterday, at times in the second half, looked like Molango up front on his own supported by attacking midfielders. Could be wrong but those were my thoughts at the time.

I go along with RB for the first away game.
Use a single striker (Malango) and flood the midfield and defence. Absorb 85 mins of pressure and hit them on the break using our now superior fitness.

Probably, although my personal preference would be to attack and win 6-0 :lolol:...

who will start in goal

roberts was our best player in the last 10 games of last season, but hasn't he got back trouble?

MM said he was going to give him the full 90mins at Cambridge. The fact he didn't suggests there is still a problem with the back

If we play with 16 then we might well beat them 6.0 as you suggest!

I still think MM will bring in a player on loan this week. We don't want to start off with a few defeats just because we could'nt cover for Leon. Still five days to get another player or two in. Keep the faith.

Dear Royal Ali,
Why is the clock on hobnob one hour and ten minutes behind the rest of the world?

I however think it'll be close, but as its the first game of the season, and we're at home, we should put on a good show and come out on top.
2-1 was mny prediction, with Sidwell and Forster scoring, with Malongo getting one for you.

Come on !

You know we normally beat you. Nov 2002 was a blip (and we had Sidwell then)

2-1 to us I reckon :lolol:

I can't pretend I'm not worried about how this season is going to pan out but it'll be great to be playing against the big teams again. I can't help thinking , however, that we should perhaps have had one or two friendly games against stronger teams. Southend, Cambridge, Weymouth & Crawley can hardly be described as testing opposition.
