bit disappointing really. 2 callers on, both asked by Alan Green if Brighton could survive not getting Falmer, both said no, but the reasons were poor. First said it only holds 6500 and we couldn't fulful our potential, second mentioned the atmosphere being bad. kudos for calling but those are not the reason!! plenty of clubs survive with small crowds and bad atmosphere, and so could we IF we could afford to be at Withdean, AND IF the Council allow us to play there.

I guess its hard if you actually get through on a National phone-in to be eloquent and articulate, and put across the main points. I'd probably get tongue-tied meself. But yes, its always disappointing when we're given a platform and don't make the most of it.

I phoned the switchboard prior to the show going on air. They must have been bombarded with calls from us, as the operator was fully aware.

Incidentally, he is a very happy York City fan, who is going to vist NSC to get the e-mail and adresses needed, and may also send some flowers.

Agree I came over real emotional at that point, top bloke,

Alan Green was great, I think he appreciate the issue, knew the facts but let the fans have their say.

I was tempted to go on, rehearsed my lines.......

The message got over that if don't get Prescott's backing, we will go under. That will hit home.
