I dont think Harding is the 26th best player outside the Premiership BUT in fairness to 442 they cannot have seen him that many times and are going on the opinions of experts and fellow players. A glowing reference from Under 21 Boss Peter Taylor and a couple of good England Under 21 appearances would suggest to someone who was not at Withdean every week that Harding is hot property.

A few years ago...Zamora would have been in the top 5....how things have changed:rolleyes:

Can't believe Etherington isn't in the top 10, let alone 50 ... bizarre. Not at all sure about Reo-Coker though. I guess they had to try and be fairly representative of all the leagues, hence Noble, Trundle et al.

a class act. Although his form has left him recently, he has huge potential.

15. Paul McKenna - Preston - who?

One of Prestons best players this season.

18. Andy Lonergan - Preston - who?

Their GK, and their fans rave about him. I beleive he is English and plays for the u21s. Deserved place up there.

46. John Ruddy - Cambridge - WHO?

I believe he is signing for Everton so he must be quite good. but top 50..

Rasiak, Commons, Etherington, G. Teale (Wigan), Rob Hulse, Ian Westlake, Dean Bowditch, Indio Indiakez should all be in there too.

23. Lee Johnson - Yeovil
)

Why isn't he in capitals as he played for us..................

I always he looked a promsing players but was just a bit too young to break into our team at the time.

If we were at Falmer 2 years ago we could have a team including:- Sidwell, Ingimarsson, Zamora, Brooker, Currie & Cullip

If you add Virgo, Chippy, Knight, Nicolas & maybe Shabaan......

Marco Reich of Derby is the best oppo player I've seen this season and should be in there. The Wolves guy Seol must be the second best and he's not there either.

That Reading fullback who scores from loads of free-kicks too. Midfield playmakers Alan Dunne of Millwall and Jim Magilton of Ipswich.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking as I went down the list. So, according to 4-4-2 we would have been better off hanging onto Lee Johnson rather than Bobby Zamora.

Oh Bobby, do you now realise that you shouldn't have left. I wonder if he is still getting pandered to by his agent, or now that his career has nosedived after taking the advice to go, has the phone stopped ringing.

Let this be a lesson to anyone else thinking of going because they are being told by their agent that they are the best thing since sliced bread .... [muttering under my breath] Dan Harding, Leon Knight.
