Nine. . . no one else has said nine, so I'm going for nine. . . . three wins and two defeats

Reading these comments it strikes me that people talk about having to win four or five of the games to get back towards mid-table. But if we could win four out of five games, we'd be a play-off team already. So why do you expect this to happen now? What has changed? We've been a mid table squad, with relegation tactical awareness thus far. If Gus can get this squad playing to their potential, that still only gives us mid-table capability. Will that be enough to drag us out of the mire? I hope so.

I'm going for 7 points - one more win, one draw and two defeats and we get to January without being much further from the main pack just outside the relegation places.

I'd say we've won all our winnable games under Gus.
Leeds and Norwich, we never stood a chance really.
Charlton we maybe could've nicked a point at best.
Exeter, Wycombe, Rushden- all teams we should beat, and did.
Southampton was an added bonus, as we were massive underdogs according to form.

I haven't been this confident in the team for a while, even if we maybe aren't playing as well as we should be. Grinding out results away at places like Exeter is what you need to be doing if you want to challenge for play-offs.

A win or draw against Colchester would be lovely, but we can't be too downbeat if we lose to them. They've had a bloody strong start, and are looking a much improved side this season, but i'm confident we can get something.

I'll worry if we don't beat Orient and Wycombe comfortably. Swindon are on a lucky run at the moment, it'll end soon enough and they'll slip down to mid-table come February, mark my words.
Form is temporary, class is permanent. Swindon have the form, but we have the class and flair of Gus and Mauricio!
We should be getting 3 points at the County Ground if we really want to contend.

So i think we should get at least 9 points from our next 3 if we want to contend this season.
But i reckon we'll get 10, drawing 2-2 with Colchester, beating Orient 3-1, beating Swindon 1-0 and beating Wycombe 3-0.
The league is so tight at the moment, so there is no way we should be ruling out play-offs. Absolutely no way.

The win against Exeter was a great result, we didn't play that well, and Exeter aren't a big name side so it seems to have been overlooked, but they have been very good at home this season, they'd only lost once before last Saturday.

Colchester and Swindon are tough games, but not impossible. Orient should be a definite 3 points, Wycombe have picked up a bit lately. 6+ points wouldn't be a bad return.
