....how many points?

Exeter v Brighton
Brighton v Colchester
Swindon v Brighton
Brighton v Leyton Orient
Wycombe v Brighton

10 points I think.

We may have struggled against Leeds, Norwich and Charlton but that was a bastard of a run...

Exeter are not great at home - score draw, followed by a bit of time for serious training.
Colchester - tough match, narrow defeat with defence showing some semblance of organisation.
Swindon - shit at home. Away win, though still no clean sheet.
Orient - home win. Clean sheet, but Withdean Wanderer still suicidal.
Wycombe - they really are rubbish. Away win. Successive clean sheets!

A great end to the year and NSC is flooded with perspective as everyone reflects on a rollercoaster start for Poyet given the tough fixtures and disorganised defence he inherited...

Wishful thinking? Maybe, but why the bloody hell not?

I think Gus will look at that and think we can get 11 points and try to go unbeaten. Who knows to be honest but some players have 5 matches to save there jobs at Brighton.

Realistically, I think we've gotta be looking to go unbeaten through that run of games, obviously we want to win them all but is unlikely, but I think the likes of Exeter, Swindon, Orient and Wycombe are all winnable games, Colchester are a tougher outfit but a point would be useful, If we were to take a point of Colchester and beat the rest that would give us 30points half way through the season and put us in with a realistic chance of mid table, If we don't at least win 3 of these I have to admit I think we're in trouble

I'd would say you are pretty much spot on. We were never going to beat Leeds, Norwich or Charlton with only a days training and rest periods between each game. Exeter are a side that we should certainly challenge, Colchester look a fairly good side. I think a win at Swindon might be a tough ask but I think we will do Leyton Orient and Wycombe (again!!)

If were gonna stay up and hopefully make mid table we cant afford to lose any of these games.....they are all winable but its the Albion were talking about here so ill go for 10 points from a poss 15.

I think we'll win at Wycombe but lose all the other games. I have no confidence at all in the team at the moment; and how Gus can say that he expects us to win at Exeter is beyond me. We've already lost to Stockport and Tranmere who are below us in the table!

5-7 points, hopefully we can have new face/faces in Defence, before the 3rd round of the fa cup,and maybe,we can progress in the fa cup,and give us a bit of fun along the way of a season where will end up in 12-16th position, and kick on the season after.

10 points is the haul I'd expect from a team expecting a mid table finish.

I think we'll get 6 points.
