:ohmy: im very pleased with that...but very shocked there was only 5 arrests today!!! the amount of police cars zooming down north street with policeman in riot gear was unbelievable around 3 o clock today!

I hope they were anti-hunt protesters that turned-up just looking to cause trouble! :angry: :angry:

i saw one of the arrests... pretty amusing.

lots of toffs chasing some bloke shouting at him to 'take it back'

by all accounts he'd grabbed a sign or summit and run off with it, then dropped it in some sort of anti hunt protest.

the rozzers had a word and told him he best' clear off that way' away from said angry toffs.

after he'd left, a nice gent pointed out to the policeman that the bloke they'd just told to clear off had been lobbing stuff into the crowd all afternoon :lolol:

needless to say the copper legs it down the road and nicks him.

There was a Trade Justice march protesting about Third World debt.
Mainly by Christian Aid but there were some other relief agencies and people from local churches taking part.
