im very pleased with that...but very shocked there was only 5 arrests today!!! the amount of police cars zooming down north street with policeman in riot gear was unbelievable around 3 o clock today!

I hope they were anti-hunt protesters that turned-up just looking to cause trouble!

i saw one of the arrests... pretty amusing.

lots of toffs chasing some bloke shouting at him to 'take it back'

by all accounts he'd grabbed a sign or summit and run off with it, then dropped it in some sort of anti hunt protest.

the rozzers had a word and told him he best' clear off that way' away from said angry toffs.

after he'd left, a nice gent pointed out to the policeman that the bloke they'd just told to clear off had been lobbing stuff into the crowd all afternoon

needless to say the copper legs it down the road and nicks him.

There was a Trade Justice march protesting about Third World debt.
Mainly by Christian Aid but there were some other relief agencies and people from local churches taking part.
