Point taken - that is a VERY GOOD Solo..not quite sure if it's the 13th best ever, but it's pretty immense.

Not so sure about the rest of the song though

Where is Gary Moore Parissien Walkway, my favourite.

I was told, by a musician who played at one of my pubs and was a friend of his, that he made that to pay off his Income Tax and avoid going to prison.

Wahey! Another nice, safe, conservative "greatest" list as voted for by people who take a passing interest in music and only own Greatest Hits albums.

It's got a monster of a duo on it.

Edit... Duet even... :shootself

I think it's actually a monster of a trio/triplet/whatever it's called, although technically only when played live as the album version was triple-tracked by the same guy so I've got no idea what that makes it.

I think you're right. Hence my sneakily added second edit, which I obviously didn't write quickly enough...

Fair comment although not the worst list i've see. What irks me more is that the people they often ask don't know the difference between a guitar riff and an actual solo. That is evidenced by the inclusion of the Trooper by Iron Maiden. Which solo are they referring to Adrian Smith's or Dave Murray's? I suspect they are actually talking about one of Maidens' finest harmony "diddle dee" style riffs.

Of course even more annoying is concert footage when the dumb ass cameraman focuses in on the wrong guitar player during the solo. I have a DVD of Bruce Dickinsons 'Scream for Me Brazil' gigs and the twat keeps doing this!:censored: :censored: :censored:
