Just 4 weeks to go until The Falmer site is safe and Dick Knight will inform us as to how they will (or already have ) raise the money for our brand ,spanking new stadium. I presume finances will have to be in place within 3 months for a October start next year.

Is it 50 mill or has it gone up ?

Am so exited waiting to hear of '' Those mystery investers''

We don't need a brand new man, or indeed any individuals throwing money at us. We've already kicked off with the £5.3m grant from SEEDA, and now we're up and running I have no doubt that companies will contribute in return for naming rights etc.

Where do people get this idea that as soon as we have the all-clear for Falmer a string of rich men are going to appear and throw money at us? Lots of clubs get new stadiums, lots of clubs with just as much "potential" as us - they don't all get brand new mega-rich chairmen too! Not that I want one anyway, I just think it's really strange how everyone seems to be convinced a new man has to lead the club as soon as the first brick is laid.

But surely Dick will inform us now of the financial arrangements. He has stated that the money would be available when the site was secure or did he say something else that I missed.
A rough breakdown in 8 weeks time will do.

I think it will take a lot more than 8 weeks. Firstly, they're borrowing half of the money, so that explains that. The rest of it is grants and sponsorship etc, which I would expect get accepted and agreed one by one over quite a long period of time - hence the one year until the diggers move in.

football foundation grants usually take around 3-6 months to process if memory serves me correctly
