West...West.......WEST SUSSEX
C.M.S to Norwich for 3 million
Buckley to Southampton for 3 million
Bridcut to Villa??? for 3 million.

I hope none of the above deals come true in the transfer window, but and its a big BUT, they all become a reality we would have around 9 million to spend........how many and who would you want in and at how much?

If Bridders leaves, I think we could truly be stuffed. He's the most important man in the squad imo.
Perhaps get Bennett back from Norwich and one or two hard hitting CB's.
No need for strikers, put 2 up front, play 4-4-2 and goals will come.

was thinking about this yesterday as it is a considerable fee, although i hope it isn't true as these are three hard working solid performers for us. A striker i would love to see at Brighton is young Joe Mason from Cardiff, extremely talented and yet he barely gets starts and has to play second fiddle to Helguson. Kenwyne Jones would be a brilliant addition but he has started to play more with Walters so unlikely to get him.
In terms of a holding midfielder i think we need to go abroad, get someone slower on the ball than Bridcutt but more solid and physical as the Championship is often a messy league and i feel we often lack someone who can play the darker side of the league. Look to Germany perhaps for that someone solid, unless we could get lampard, always get lampard.
On the wing i would like Matt Richie, attempt to replace like for like.
Would still have money left over probably and would be left with young signings who could develop into top flight players, i feel a striker who can header and someone who can put in good crosses would provide an alternative route of attack.

Completely agree! I thought Bridders shift last night was immense. And of the course, the only unfortunate thing about that, it was on telly. So if there were any premier managers who knew very little about Bridders, they bloody well do now

We have other midfielders, but they don't seem as committed as Bridcutt has been through most of this season. And his game has matured so much, that even the stupid bookings have now gone.

GUS, DO NOT SELL UNLESS WE CAN GET ZAHA-STYLE FIGURES FOR THE GUY - AT LEAST £30,000,000000 :dunce:

3M for Bridcut. I can not think of another player as good, that we could get to replace him for 3M.
He is the one we need to keep. Three million would be a steal if he was allowed to leave.
