Group A: Poll will run for 48 hours. Top 4 will progress to the next round.

Frank Worthington

Nationality: English

Albion Career: 1984-95 (31 appearances, 7 goals)

Credentials: Moustache-clad lothario and all round infamous swordsman. Lived hard and fast and realistically how we’d all love to do it. Incredible natural ability.

1710940424713.png

Ezequiel Schelotto

Nationality: Italian/Argentinian

Albion Career: 2017-20 (28 appearances, 0 goals)

Credentials: Great hair and general appearance. Swashbuckling playing style and possessed almost no technical ability whatsoever. Bit of a wind up merchant.

1710940463696.png

Mauricio Tarrico

Nationality: Argentinian

Albion Career: 2010-12 (15 appearances, 0 goals)

Credentials: Never has an assistant manager had such poor discipline. Chucked on to play every now and again despite having been retired for several years pre-Albion. Absolute mad man and red card magnet.

1710940500935.png

Nzuzi Toko

Nationality: DR Congolese

Albion career: 2014-15 (1 appearance, 0 goals)

Credentials: Signed with a bit of fanfare, only played 1 game where it looked like he was a walking red card and then was never seen again.

1710940525018.png

Fran Sandaza

Nationality: Italian

Albion Career: 2010-11 (19 appearances, 4 goals)

Credentials: Both looked and played like a horse. Was he actually part-horse? We’ll never know.

1710940553293.png

Federico Turienzo

Nationality: Argentinian

Albion Career: 2005-06 (4 appearances, 0 goals)

Credentials: The original, the man who helped kick start the flair movement. The ultimate latino stallion. Signed with an air of mystique and was absolutely rubbish.

1710940574536.png

Diego Arismendi

Nationality: Uruguayan

Albion Career: 2010 (6 appearances, 0 goals)

Credentials: Slightly psychotic bad boy who loved to party. Signed with an incredible amount of fanfare and other than getting sent off in his final game, did very little.

1710940600977.png

Dirk Lehmann

Nationality: German

Albion Career: 2001-02 (7 appearances, 0 goals)

Credentials: Had one of the oddest running styles you’ll ever see. Wore two hooped earrings and had to wear tape over them during games.

1710940620954.png

Steve Foster

Nationality: English

Albion Career: 1979-84 & 1992-96 (287 appearances, 13 goals)

Credentials: Great head band which adds to his generally great appearance.

As tempting as it would be to vote Worthington, Schelotto simply has the whole package,

Mauricio Tarrico has it all but he was also assistant manager/player which elevates him to another level of flair.
yeh I think the level of responsibility and leadership he was supposed to be showcasing to his players, whilst getting sent off for dissent, makes him one of the all time flair icons

Schelotto.

Full Italian international, despite being as Argentine as they come.

Made Zaha cry.

Had the kitchen in his rented house by Hove Park, refitted to include FOUR OVENS then proceeded to subsist solely on massive slabs of meat cooked on his asada / barbecue.

and LOOK at him!

must say I did love his near-daily social media posts of him having colossal bbq's

can't even begin to fathom how much red meat he consumed in his time here

"Frank Worthington

Given he was only sober enough to play 31 times in 11 seasons and up to the age of 47, he gets my vote.

Exactly this.

Tarricco out of a very strong group for me.

The competitive juices are obviously very strong in Tanno, once he steps onto the pitch.

The bloke was living a happy retirement (in Sicily?), and had zero interest in a career in football management, when Poyet basically press-ganged him back into it. He sat there in his seat on the bench, slumped into his coat, showing zero emotion game after game, like he genuinely gave no fucks.

Then he put a kit on and immediately flipped into a wild-tackling, ref-abusing, mentalist.

I'm torn between Schelotto and Taricco.

I'm edging towards the greyhound as he has his own smilie on top of his looks, erratic playing style, confused nationality, wind up merchantness and all round latinoness.

Disappointed Calde qualified but Sandaza in twice is a bonus.

I hope you don’t have a long face when you realise what you’ve done
