I see that you can link your Twitter account to your profile here, plus MSN, ICQ, Skype etc... but is there any way to link your Facebook account, so that people can find you that way if they so desire?

Also, I know you can subscribe to threads manually or by replying to them (so you get an e-mail when another reply happens), but is there any obvious way to set it so that you get an e-mail when someone starts a new thread or replies using a specified word, i.e. a players name etc...?

You can put your facebook link in your signature and the top right hand corner, thread tools allows you to subscribe to a thread

No facebook link can go in your signature.

The top right hand corner is the thread subscritpions bit, which after re-reading your first post I realise you know that bit and it wasn't actually your question.
