I did too. We were over-run in midfield- we looked much better when Vicente replaced LuaLua. Although we also looked better after Vincelot replaced Painter (who looked woeful).

I always put that down to a lack of a midfield presence.

I really thought Razak was the last piece of the jigsaw.

With that person, who isn't going to come cheap, I see is being well balanced.

Calde - wrong - cannot defend, but keep as great with the ball. Journalists and ex-footballers who've watched the Albion this year, have been shocked at Painter's & Calde's lack of defensive ability and pace. You can see it clearly every game.

WB is a class act, regardless of who is behind him. I hope Lambert or another don't raid us in the Summer for WB.

Noone a great player that high-flying Cardiff tried to poach. Not the finished article yet.

WB isn't the same player with Reyes, he isn't even in the same gene pool.

Who is taking about Painter, how many games has he played. He was toilet, and I feel is done.

Calde's lack of pace?, is he so slow he looks like he's going backwards, like most defenders against WB & KLL, NO.

I really hope we stick with this for the remaining two games, made us look so much more dangerous, even though LuaLua had a fairly quiet game. When Vicente came on, we looked class and were all over them.

We'd be on for automatic promotion if we played this, found a decent goalie, a good box to box midfielder and a poacher to put the chances away... Obviously depends on Vicente staying though...

We can only play two wingers if we also play three central midfielders. If we want to play two strikers, we can only play one winger. Otherwise we get overrun in midfield. It's happened every time we've tried it this season, from the very first game against Doncaster, against some better teams, and again tonight against Watford. We just don't have a holding midfielder strong enough to run that area on his own, so to prevent the other team getting on top we simply need to outnumber them there.

And we need midfielders who can chip in a fair amount of goals
