No wonder he was happy to leave.

Rank, isn't it?

Your 90 Euros gets you...

which roughly translates to...

The Official La Havre shirt for the 2007/08 season with all the sponsor and official patches. The ADIDAS short sleeved 100% polyester shirt is completely identical to that of the professionals.
- 'U' logo on the front
- logo of the Region Haute-Normandie on the back
- logo of Department of the Seine-Maritime on the left sleeve
- LFP patch on the right sleeve
- Name and number of your choice on the back

Bit of a patchwork quilt then isn't it?

Face it, when we get to Falmer, can you imagine having the patch of Brighton & Hove City Council on one sleeve, Lewes District Council on the other, and East Sussex County Council on your shorts? Doesn't bear thinking about.

Not sure about GO'C. The french guy is a 'wide midfielder' Wide left hopefully, so Cox can go on the right where he belongs

Firstly, and by far most importantly, we have two new midfielders. That in itself is fantastic, as without them I was almost certain we would spend the season in a relegation battle. Of course, if they turn out to be rubbish we still might, but at least this gives us a fighting chance. It's a bit concerning they are only on loan, as if they are any good we will lose them, and even if they're not good enough to move on they may well go back to their clubs at the end of the year. From a long-term point of view, it doesn't really give us much stability. We do undoubtedly need permanent players in our midfield who are better than El Abd and Fraser. Anyway, in our situation with one day remaining of the window, with a poor team staring in the face of a season in the bottom four, I am just thankful we have done something, and that's good enough for now.

Also, does anyone know what sort of midfielders they are? Midfield can mean anything really. I'm hoping one is a defensive, holding player to ensure we don't see any more of El Abd, and one is the flair man we desperately need.

I think Matot is a winger. Gorgeous George can do ANYTHING mind (but was a striker so is probably a very attacking midfielder).

Thanks. Has anyone got any ideas on which side DAVIDE plays?

Also, Edna, I would have to disagree with you re Nick Ward. I hope we do have a new Nick Ward on our hands - that man had more tricks than Paul Daniels:bowdown:

More shit tricks, anyway.....

As for the signings - superb news..let's face it, they can't make us any worse, can they?

*hopes that quote doesn't come back to haunt me*

...Is it too greedy to hope for one more signing before the deadline? Then i'd be WELL CHUFFED
