If you are going out there tonigt and fancy a very cheap student night that will be packed full of fanny go to the Lost Weekend. Its NUS only i think but well worth it if you can blag your way in.

The works is pretty good but it will be rammed full of the stoodents who have no idea where better to go and the Asian stoodents who go there to flex.

Early on you could try the social (f***ing wicked gin and tonic in there) or the Alley Cafe (small place but well nice).

RnB and hip hop would be the lost weekend and the works back room (big it is) is r'n'b and hip hop. I'd go there for the fit ladeez.

The works seems like your best bet especially if you are on the list. There are some good bars round there as well. Its part of a complex called the Cornerhouse which has a bar called 'the' which is f***ing lovely.

The works is pretty studenty so you should be okay as long as nobody is looking scruffy innit.

Getting in should be okay but i'd get there about 11ish to make it certain of getting in.

There is normally a queue at teh Lost weekend by half ten, no hats is their only policy from what i remember.

I'm sure she's incredibly talented and great fun to be around, but if the dwaynester was such a great draw then why would he feel the need to drop her name all over the place?

My thoughts precisely...

Anyone else hang out with D list celebs? I once met that Irish bloke from Cold Feet, although I'd say he was C list...
