I'm actually not looking forward to it at all. Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but think we're going to get soundly beaten and the thought of 3000 Palace (or however many it is) at The Amex lording it over us for the second season running, and losing our first two homes games against them in our new stadium makes me feel ill.

Expecting a tonking. Think we may be alright if we score 4, but need to take into account Glenda scoring, Phillips scoring, and giving away a penalty. The omens certainly are not in our favour, so expecting the worst and anything else is a bonus. The critical thing is to take our chances when they come.

Thats what they said about the away game too - no problem then...we just have to wait and see. Besides - i do have player as a back up!

That game was televised, just not in England. It was televised abroad and if this game was televised abroad we'd know about it already from the schedules. Just don't get your hopes up is all I'm saying.

I've just had one of the crappiest weeks ever for a number of reasons, Sunday will either be the dog turd on top of my poo cake or will be the Swedish au pair at the top of the stairs whose clothes have all just fallen off! I'm not sure what a draw will be? Perhaps the naked Swedish au pair kicking the dog for pooing on the cake?

Not quite so nailed now as both prime red card suspects are already banned :lolol:

Edit: Hold that thought, just remembered who the ref is. Expect Vicente to be red carded for taking the piss out of the Palace midfield.

Ah yes, of course at least one sending off as well. Coupled with the fact that Poyet has never beaten Palace, or a Holloway side as manager despite being in a winning position at least 3 times, it doesn't bode well. But my god, what I'd love to do to be able to eat my words.

Right. I know that over the last few weeks I've berated all of thos goons who keep saying how MASSIVE whatever game is coming up next is. But I can't help it and have to join in.

It's not MAKE or BRAKE - we're still too close for this to be it for our season.

But this really is MASSIVE.

Not with any bookmaker I've seen.

With Palace's dismal away form over the last 4 months you would have thought the bookies will have us as odds on favourites - we're not.

They won their last away game at Derby, who had previously only been beaten twice at home
