Can someone tell me what the Shorts and Socks looked like?

The shorts had three holes one large and two small, whilst the socks just had one hole and were longer than ordinary day to day socks.

Best red away kit has to be about 1986 , with the horizontal stipes (hoops) on the shoulders. Dean Saunders, Eric Young , Danny Wilson , sponsored by Nobo.....that was a kit

Been available for decades. You could buy replicas shirts of the Bukta kit in 1978 (but were sold mostly in kids sizes).

You very rarely saw them inside grounds until the 1990s. They became more popular once the premier league started after 1992 and after the rebuilding of stadia started post bradford and Hillsborough as people did not have to dress for standing in the rain in uncovered stands...........
