1983 Cup Final Song

Following on from the record thread.
Does anyone own the 'Boys In the Old Brighton Blue'/'Goldstone Rap' record from the 1983 cup final.
Iam proud to say that I have it!
Remember getting it from Boots in Worthing when thay had the players, Fozzie, Gary Stevens etc there.
Great times, marvellous scenes.

PS - for those of you in the under 20's yellow club a record is something that we used to play music on before the introduction of Compact Discs!

i know i've got it, paid a £5 for it at a car boot sales ages ago but have never played it !

Always remember waking up on the Friday after the drubbing from Manure and on the radio was "Glory, Glory Man Utd".

One radio hurled at wall in disgust and major bollocking from my Mum !

I thought the Goldstone Rap was the better of the two, and was a landmark in football songs as it came about 5 years before the more famous and annoying 'Anfield Rap'

got the boys in the old brighton blue on pristine 7" single. i prefferred goldstone rap also.

Its included in a WSC compilation album c1989 which I bought in Reckless Records in Soho. If you think ours is crap just listen to Orient's cup run single 'Fantastico, we're on the way Wembley O'

Got a single called Seagulls by Carol Manns - it's a celebration single about us winning promotion in 79
