If anyone is interested. Is it just me but did they come out of the opoosite end of the stadium than I remember.

we aere at the tunnel end in 1983 and this surely is at the other end.

Otherwise, some quality camera work for 1929 and they manage to get both goals.

oh and Portsmouth lose again!

Great footage! Firstly yes, they definitely emerged from the opposite side of the stadium. Teams amble on the pitch, no real ceremony. The first goal is completely missed by the cameras but they still show slo-mo! The second goal was captured on slo-mo but not at the other non slo-mo angle and showed what a very poor piece of keeping that was. A lot of hoof ball even back then and players did cuddle at goals, despite us being told men were men then. No hoisting of the cup at the Royal box... huge police presence and the future King looking terribly bored and wanting to go home! Excellent find. I wonder if this was closely followed by Pompey going into administration?
