I have a small number of cards, measuring about 4" x 3" which were obviously printed following victorious matches. As indicated, these appear to be from the 1920s.
As a taster, here is one which followed Albion's win against The Blades in 1922.
Death of Sheffield
Sacred to the Memory of
Poor Old Sheffield
Who died whilst fighting for the English Cup.
The great cup fight is over, the victory is gained,
And poor old United lies among the slain;
To the seaside they came with a roar and a bound,
But came a nasty cropper in the first round.
Has anyone seen these before and are they worth anything?
