12 games gone and what would want??

If by some fluke we repeated what happened to us a couple of years ago with MH in charge and were bottom with 12 games gone

What would you do?

Sack MM and get someone else in?
Or keep faith in him ?

After all we are only 10 games away from that happening again with not an easy game in those ten!!

I don't think DK could afford to sack him to be honest, i reckon he'll still be incharge come the end of the season even if we lose all 46 league games.

I'd agree with that, although might change my mind if we continue to put in performances like last night.

yea i reckon after the kast two game MM will really shake em up and sat will be our first point! stick with MM he hasnt got a great deal to work with. We need consistency and he is a proven manager at this level, so why change him!

It would depend on the nature of the 10 defeats. If he carried on playing the same sort of misguided tactics of last night then I'd want him out. If we were trying new things but we just weren't good enough then it is pointless in sacking him. We'd need more investment.

The way some of you are going on you'd think we'd just played out our 11th straight defeat. Instead, we've just lost two games with what can only be considered a makeshift side. We've got Roberts, Knight, Carpenter, Oatway and McPhee to return soon (and possibly Rodger too). Please get off his back and let him get on with what's already a difficult job.

I also notice from the club site that he's owning up to making some mistakes in the selection for yesterday - so perhaps we'll see a different approach on Saturday.

Im not getting on his back,Im just looking at worse case scenario!

We have a 2nd division (or is it 'the new 1st') side, and we can only afford to bolster it with .......2nd division players.
No shock that we struggle in this higher division and probably go down again, only to do reasonably well ......again.
With no stadium to bring in funds, no funds to bring in players - it's predictable, and yet actually quite a feat for this club to be continually surviving.

We are the underdog, out of our depth financially, and expected to lose in every fixture at this level.

Every game has to be seen as a cup final by players and fans - and support has to be delivered without expectation.

We might still surprise some sides and nick a few points - so get behind our underdog team and let's not be berating MM at this point.

Incidentally, players can better make a 'name for themselves' in these circumstances, by playing above themselves and taking on oppositions as if there's nothing to lose.

Remember Notts Forest of the 70s, Wimbledon of the early 90s, Brighton after Adams started to manage?

That's the spirit required - we barely scraped the playoffs to get promoted - now the challenge is definitely on!

I think MM will do us proud. I feel that when we get one point it will lead to more. The team just need a good performance and a bit of luck to get their first point. Once that happens and they all see that they are capable of playing at this level they will start picking up the points. I still belive that we will finish mid-table and will look back at this and wonder what all the fuss was about.
