Can see a number of people waiting till the new year to buy a ticket. Money is tight for a lot of people especially those with kids this time of year and a lot of people are not paid inbeteeen their last payday and xmas. I know a fair few people holding on till January to buy tickets. I know our large group is split between those than can afford it now and those that can’t.

At least other people have "reasons" yours and Easy's "I can't be arsed" attitude is what people take umbrage with.

I go to every home League game and have done pretty much since 1988, a fair few aways, and these days I pick and choose the Cup ones. This season I went to the Barnet game, but didn't go to Bournemouth, and I'm not bothering with this one. Not everyone lives, breathes, eats and shits BHAFC every waking moment, and I don't feel OBLIGED to attend every single game they play. There are times in life when other factors come into play that make me weigh up whether I want to go along to the game or not, and on balance, with this one, I'm not overly fussed.

Now I'm sorry if that mortally offends your SUPERFAN sensibilities, but if it does, then here's what I suggest you can do. You can screw it up into a tight little ball, dip it in treacle, roll it in Lego, and cram it up your rusty sheriffs badge as far as it will possible go.

Let me know how you get on.

This. And I can't be arsed with the **Cup**. If that shouts out that I'm a bad fan of the Albion, then sorry!

Worth mentioning that the capacity is actually restricted for this game. 2000 away fans and the south stand closed to home fans Capacity probably therefore about 27,000

Hey there, where are you going to be in the ground? I was going to take my daughter but her school starts back on the 4th and now they've moved it to the Monday can't do :( So I'm on my ownsome (but thinking of dragging Ferry along !!!! ha!)
W1F so I can abuse Roy and the palace subs.

:lolol:

Yeah mine go back to school the following day, so they'll probably be a bit tired. I'm guessing my drive is probably shorter than yours? (4 hours)

Sent a text to someone about getting Palace ticket and he said he didn't have a clue about the procedure to getting tickets these days! So when the regulars can't be arsed to turn up we need to make it easier for others to get tickets or we don't I suppose.

This and the fact many fans just can’t see modern football’s controlling nature puts many casual attendees off

Gonna be a fair few dissapointed people on here who didnt go for whatever excuse makes them feel better, when both teams field their strongest teams and the game turns into a classic 5-0 to the Albion.

Ok it might not but isnt that all part of the game? It might be? Do you really want to miss that after sitting through the years of dross such as Lincoln away just last year?

Still not bothered?

Its Palace ffs we went a decade of craving this fixture not very long ago, Monday night.... On tv..... Cold in January... there might be some bangs..... Some of their fans wear hoodys...

Ffs have a word with yourselves IT'S FVCKIN PALACE!!!

How much did you enjoy the 0-0 league match this season? Marks out of 10.
