A Sunday league soccer team sponsored by an Indian-owned pub have ditched half-time oranges - after finding that onion bhajis helped them run rings round their opponents.
Billa's AFC, an amateur side based in Wolverhampton, say the bhajis have so far helped them to overpower one rival outfit 6-0 and make an unbeaten start to the season.
Billa's Bar owner Mac Matta said: "The lads come in for a drink and will always guzzle it down with a plate of barbecued chicken tikka.
"One of them decided football and curries were the greatest things in his life so we decided to combine the two."
