This may sound stupid but..

...is there any possibility that there is more money coming in some form, but everyone is saying £1.5m so that BR 30% is kept to a minimum. Of course this would be illegal, so probably not.

Maybe Spurs will loan us someone and pay their wages.

I know I'm clutching at straws, but £1.5m is very disappointing...

RP, how many goals had those two scored, and how many international caps did they have?

80s - I think we all know the answer to that.

The 'then' chairman turned down £4m from Kenny Dalglish at Newcastle in the summer, six months later both lads are at Spurs for £1.2m.

How many goals has Davies scored for Spurs and how many proper international caps does he have now?

Players are only worth what someone is prepared to pay - how come Spurs get their players so cheap???
