Are they still going in? Based on the crowds we have been getting since the new away stand opened I don't think we'll need them.

No they are not - in fact unless crowds pick up in he next month the extra 1,000 will be taken away again as it is not worth the rental on them. I have this on good authority.

I thought that we had sold out a lot of games recently, but season ticket holders not turning up has put the attendance down. Not including today of course but most teams attendances are down in the FA Cup nowadays.

I thought we bought the seats. They're staying there after we leave aren't they!?!

This time last year many were complaining of not being able to get a ticket to go to Topttenham and they 'have been a suppporter since Harold invaded Hasting'

Where were they all today!!!!

Before the new seats went in we were getting roughly 6,500 - so with 900 new seats we should be getting 7,400 but we're not. Perhaps we've reached the limit of what people are prepared to pay for what's being served up.

I must say I was very angry with the fact there were lots of empty green seats. FFS why not give them to local schools or drum up some trade in Churchill square yesterday and this morning, if we knew some tickets would not be sold. We have got a marketing team and they seem to do feck all

I'm not sure if you can get tickets for the new family stand unless you take children with you anyway

They are a permanent structure and will be left as a gift to the athletics club when we go.

I'm guessing this latest information has been supplied to you by our new owner who'll be along in, what, about half an hour now?

Agreed, it's where diminishing returns law cuts in.

Poor performances, difficulty in getting tickets (no pay on gate, lottery etc.) lack of novelty value (2nd season in Div 2), abismally poor facilities, no parking at the ground.

All above factors drive down the nos. of people prepared to suffer the 'Albion experience' so the cut off for attendance figures kicks in really low - hence gates of around 7,000 which are not sell-outs.

Are we talking about the new away end or the extended home end ?

The away end is NOT a permanant stucture. It was originally planned to be, but I understand some of the fall out from the nutter at Withdean is that the new away end is temporary.
