Can you explain why BHAFC uses 0844/5 numbers and not 01273?

I think it's obscene to charge fans up to 40p per minute to call
the club to spend money.

The queue for the ticket line can be lengthy at times meaning
fans having to shell out £s extra to buy a ticket.

It should also be noted that you can't call 0844/5 numbers from
abroad.

Your thoughts please?

Thanks for the feedback, I will pass this onto the ticket office, but to clarify calls to 0844 numbers are charged between 1p and 13p per minute for landline customers. Calls from mobile phones are typically charged between 20p and 41p per minute, depending on the provider and the number called. We are trying to encourage fans to use the online service (and yes we do appreciate not all fans have internet access, but the vast majority do) and therefore offer a lower booking fee (or free booking for those who print-on-demand). It is the most cost-efficient way of buying ticket for both the club and our fans.
